The Chocolate Man

I first met Sherman on November 19, 2015 when my husband, Darryl and Sherman became roommates at MCMCF. I immediately felt a special bond with him. Although his sight and hearing were failing, every time I entered the room he would be so excited. He loved his chocolate and coffee and always had chocolate in his special box, for both Darryl and myself. We shared goodies and our love for the Detroit Tigers. The last few months Sherman's health deteriorated and at times it was hard for me to understand him, but we worked thru it and it usually was he wanted more coffee....with lots of sugar and cream. We are going to miss you Sherman. Rest In Peace, Chocolate Man.
